Evangelist Carla Torrence treasures her family - her husband Keith of whom she is the loving wife of 30 years - her daughter Candace and granddaughter MaKaylah, and her 7 year old son Makiah that she and her husband Keith are raising in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. She is an ordained and licensed minister that graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in December 2001 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science in her desire to finish what she began years ago - ".for better is the end of a matter." In 2010 she completed her Masters degree in Education with the emphasis on Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino.
Over the last 30 years she has served her community as Evangelist, Worship Leader, and minister to the elderly in convalescent homes. Evangelist Torrence has lead women's Home Bible Fellowships, counseled and lead bible studies in rehabilitation centers, and in the Community Prison Mothers Program at Prototypes Women's Center, she has ministered to prison women and their children. Evangelist Torrence has served as a counselor and instructor with a Christian Growth Institute that challenged students by teaching them how to desire a "Closer Walk with God", pursue "Secrets in Prayer" while also exploring the "Great Women of the Bible". As Director of the Covenant of Grace Women's Fellowship she led the women in Worship, a more intimate Relationship with the Lord, Prayer, and Service to one another. Evangelist Torrence also had the opportunity to lead a weekly Women of Faith Bible Study on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona.
Her newest assignment is her radio ministry broadcast of "Time Well Spent" on KPRO 1570AM radio in which she encourages the hearers to spend time in the presence of the Lord. She is also in the process of developing the FellowshipLink.Net website, which is a part of the ministry God has given her for the purposes of linking the Body of Christ together one fellowship at a time. Most of all, the true joy of her life is in her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with whom she prays that all men and women come to know Him personally.
